<p>buy this one! It works. Its simple. The battery last. It's has a quiet mode. It beeps if you forget to close lock it. It has full bars like a full size safe that makes it harder to break into. I use it up right on the floor next to my bed. It is extremely hard to open it that way, but after I placed a powerful magnet with a nob on to it, I was able to open in with ease. I really think it is better use this way since it is large enough to take up the entire top space of most end tables. If not the end table you would either have to keep it further away or on the floor flat increasing the time it takes to get your gun. This is why I use it upright with a magnetic knob.</p>
